Sorry I jumped the gun a little, I assumed you would be putting the head gasket on Saturday. Maybe you will be on the next cruise. Allan

I spoke to Tess, the social secretary at Portishead CC yesterday. All is arranged for Saturday, cars picking us up from marina at 7.00 pm. There is plenty of food provided, so no worries there, and vegetarians are catered for.
Should anyone need a contact number, Tess's mobile is 07796 261025.
I expect our little flotilla will all be monitoring channel 77 as usual.
See you on the water or at the marina! Have a great sail all.

Won't be sailing over tomorrow unfortunately but will come down to Portishead Cruising club with the girlfriend Saturday evening. See you all there.
Matt.

Katy is planning to lock out at 15:00 down to 2 crew now. Karen has dropped out due to a family outing for Mother's day.

We'll be at the club around 9ish, lock out shorly afterwards with whoever is about. Fancy a sail past the Holms and out with the ebb, then up the English coast, but nothing firm. Listening channel 16/77. If yo see Ishtar, get close, I'll have my camera.

Camelot has arrived in Portishead. We initially had a great sail making 6.5 knots through the water, the wind was Southerly force 4-5 with the sea smooth, however, after just 2.5 Nm the wind died completely. We motored the rest of the way, other than a brief second attempt. Don't think you need to worry too much about the sea state tomorrow.
Look forward to seeing you all.

See you later.
