I can't vouch for the others, but I will go on Katy and Matt said he is going to take Sunbeam, assuming the weather will be BBQ friendly, of course!

I'm having a weekend off sailing this weekend, although I am going to see a boat, so no withdrawal symptoms! I hope it is as much fun as last year. Allan PS, Don't forget, someone else will need to take the cheese board.

Enigma may join the happy throng depending on Friday's weather as we are thinking of sailing over to Portishead for the night so may join you from there on Saturday. If we don't do Portishead then we may just join the BBQ cruise.

If we don't do Portishead then we may just join the BBQ cruise. The weather for Saturday is still forecast to be lovely and SUNNY!! And the forecast Easterlies would suit joining us from Portishead. Lets hope the forecast stays more or less the same; though a little bit of North in the wind direction would be nice - or is that just asking a bit too much? www.xcweather.co.uk/GB/forecast

We're supposed to be picking up our new engine on Sat, but that may now be Friday. Either way, we may try and zoom down in the car for an hour or two.

Huw has said he is taking his dinghy, and I will be taking mine. I can ferry people ashore as long as the battery holds out!

Well that didn't go to plan. I think most of us have turned back, maybe a bbq at the club instead?

I've just looked at the weather conditions for Flat Holm. A recorded high wind speed of 39 mph at 12.13. A bit blowy? The barrage recorded 26 mph at 12.35 We spent a few pleasant hours in the club though, catching up with people and then home to have our BBQ food for tea, to be cooked in the comfort of a warm kitchen with the TV on! Ah, domestic bliss. Also just spoken to my sister in Southampton who is also bemoaning the lack of the forecast sunhine and warm temperatures.

I think the frost bite series started the weekend before last. The racing doesn't really stop, as one event finishes there always another on the horizon, with the various clubs around the BC there's an event to be had most weekends through the Summer and the frostbite for the winter. Also a noteworthy race for us is the 'friendly' boxing day +1 race.
Why's that Rob? I didn't have you down as a racer!

I wouldn't mind racing with someone on a cruiser and that means sailing not power, good thing is I will be able to make the boxing day race this year as I now work in Lloyds Pharmacy PLC as a supervisor mon-fri
