Lawrence Chart plotter

My 3500c chart plotter packed in on the return trip from Bristol, blowing the 3 amp fuse

On further investigation, it seems to work if the ariel is dissconnected, even to the point of locking in to the saterlite system. and have left it on for up to 5 hours.

I can only assume the antenna has shorted out,

any ideas or has somebody got a spare antenna on the shelf.

Hi All

Don't know what I did but it is all back up and running again (maybe it is the 6 inch nail to replace the 3 amp fuse that kept blowing has done it)
