Just back home after a busy weekend. I now can't move - untill the pain killers kick in to ease my back - but it shouldn't last for long - I hope!! Hope I'm not getting too old for this dinghy malarchy. That aside, Thanks to all who gave up their time to help out. Everybody seemed to have a good weekend and 10 people that had vertually, and in some case no sailing knowledge can now get in a boat, sail it in a straight line, tack and in some cases gybe fairly confidently. Result!! I think all the newcomers are now planning on joining the club and taking things further and there was definitely talk about buying boats from some! I tried to encourage people to look here for details of what is going on, so if you're prepared to take a novice crew out, why not put a post here - there are plenty of willing candidates! Peter

Thanks a lot to Peter, Jim, Chris, Graham and all the others involved for running this weekend. Josh has talked of nothing else since getting home.
