Hello everyone, I am a new member of the club having bought doug gentles boat SAMOA. Unfortunately I havent sailed since I left Ireland and howth club about 3 years ago, feel like I am beginning again. Having spoke with James in the club he suggested I post a request for someone to take me out on SAMOA (Newbridge Navigator) and guide me on how to sail it. Really keen to get sailing now before the summer ends as intention to sail during the summer didnt happen due to work commitments. That project is over so have some time now to sail. I am happy to pay a tuition fee per outing to the right person as I am really keen to get sailing again.
Hope to get some replies... Damian

Hi Damian, Try coming to the Club on Wednesday evening (8 ish) and chatting to whoever is there. A few of us often sail on Wednesday evening.

Hi, Damian. Shevin is right. Pop into the club on a Wednesday evening. You may find it easier to get a sail with someone else for a week or two, until the 'rust' has gone, and then perhaps someone will offer to come out with you.
If you are unsure who we are, ask behind the bar - we are a very friendly bunch really.

I'm down the club this Sunday afternoon if that's any good to you and would be happy to assist.
Let me know if you want me to pop over.
Cheers.
