I'd like to replace the mooring warps on Kinnell. sitting out virtually on "the end of the line" on the trots, so she's fairly exposed....the current ones have been on for the last three years and the strands have begun to come unlaid.
and I would rather be safe than sorry.
The question is:
Can the club supply replacement warps and if so is there a cost?
If not, would 18 or 20 mm Octoplait be strong enough for a 24 foot cruiser in this location? - I can buy some made up to length
and, in either case, can someone help with attaching them to the riser chains on the mooring buoys...I've tried on my own to get at the shackles from a tender but its a little hairy to say the least!!!

Nice to see a member looking after their boat because there are so many forgot about until the summer comes, (end of rant lol)
Ian would be the best man to talk to I know he is very busy of late but he will help you out if he can.
