Boxing Day plus 1 Cruiser Racing

This annual event takes place on Saturday 27th December. Racng starts at 11.00 am. Buffet afterwards. Details available from Allan Fawcus or on the notice board at the Club.

Just a note to let you know that Boxing Day plus 1 is a Saturday. There will be a buffet after the racing BUT the galley will not be open for cooked meals.

As said above, the race starts at 1100hrs. I will be on the water before 1030hrs and will give the course by radio on channel 77. I will use Byron handicaps. Entries can be made on this thread, in the club before the race or on the water. Entries on here will help speed up the results after the race.
Windguru is today, 21st, giving strong winds for the day.

Just in case anyone missed out, I would like to thank, Phil and Nik for sorting the prizes and various other stuff they did which made my life easier. I'd like to thank Sheila, Rowena and all the other ladies involved in doing the buffet, plus Dave for his time behind the bar. I did forget to thank Edwina for helping me on the committee boat and with the results and Jim for his invaluable advice.

There was a professional photographer in the Bay taking photos during the event. He gave me his card in the bar afterwards and subsequently sent me the link to his web site. Here is his message, it seems if you buy the screensaver (cheapest option) he will send the full-sized image. Some interesting shots!
