We usually meet up at the bar at around 8pm every Thursday when its 'cruiser night'. As its getting a bit lighter and warmer in the evening if anyone feels like going for a sail it would be nice to meet up with like minded people and join up after work, say at 5.30pm. I'll start a thread here for those that feel like doing this whether to crew or take their boat out.

The weather forecast is rain, rain, rain tomorrow so I think we should give it a miss. Think I'll be giving the inside of the boat a clean and will be down later in the bar instead.

It was sunny when we started sailing and had a bit of friendly racing. Started raining halfway into the evening so those of us without wet weather gear ran for shelter and a hot cup of coffee! Boats that came out were:
Ocean Factor - Me, Keith, Rhian Genevieve - Joff, Polly Hullabaloo - John, Grant.
I won't be down next Thursday as getting married but will pop down the week after.
Matt.

Rain and getting married are not a good enough reason not sail! You will have to try harder! Allan PS, good luck to you and the soon to be Mrs Matt.

Last week was lovely and sunny with a nice breeze to push us along at a not too shabby pace. Boats out were:
Ocean Factor - Me, Meg, Polly Arietta - Keith Hullabaloo - John, Joanne, Steve.
Looks like this Thursday will be another scorcher so bring the factor 30 and shades!
PM me or post here if anyone is interested in joining us or just turn up at 5.30 at the benches near the flag pole.

Didn't see you down the club last night Zeus, we did wait at the benches for a while.
It was quite windy out on the bay with just Ocean Factor that went out, me, Keith, Polly, Grant. I even had the stanchons in the water!

Had a lovely sail on Genevieve with Joff, Steve and Jo. Nice to get the boat out for a sail after so long. Sunny with just the right amount of wind. Koala sailed by Grant was also out single handed with all the sails up.
Same again next week hopefully.
