Though I'd start a new thread for the photos as the other one was getting a bit long. The trip was well attended, with 7 boats from CYC attending, Alana, Andrea, Spirit of Freedom, Xanadu, Moonshadow, Perciever and Sandpiper, plus Moth who was visiting us from Western and joined us. Apologies to those who arrived later as I didn't get a photo of your boats because the camera had gone ashore by the time you arrived. Hayden and Beth on Spirit of Freedom Edit - Correction and apologies - Mike and Rhianon on Xanadu off Penarth. The Easterly wind against the tide caused some chop.

Spirit of Freedom and Xanadu anchored in calmer conditions sheltered from the tide by the Island. I think everyone agreed that the lee shore was worth the risk given the calm water. Xanadu close up with Rhianon on board - sorry Mike, didn't realise at the time that I'd cut you head off!

Huw/Angie You forget to mention about the two very "good" boats that displayed their anchor balls! Unfortunately I don't think any of us got a photo of them on display. Here is another photo of the boats at anchor.
