BEP Voltage Sensitive Relay (VSR) - Used for charging 2 batteries at the same time. When the engine is started & the start battery voltage reaches 13.2V, the VSR engages & then charges both start & domestic batteries. When the start battery voltage falls below 12.7V (i.e Engine stopped), the VSR disengages & separates the batteries. This eliminates the possibility of draining the start battery & also protects sensitive electronics (that are powered from the domestic battery) from any harmful engine start spikes. • 12v.
