Hiya,
I'm having to put my boat up for sale as I'm now working in the Midlands.
This has been a great boat to sail on the Bristol channel and has taken me down to Milford and all the way up past the Severn Bridges as well as lots of Saturdays out on the Channel when nobody else has been about.
She's long and pointy enough to bash through a bit of Bristol Channel wind over tide but also compact enough to single hand and being long keel gives you plenty of time to jump off onto a pontoon and tie up on your own if need be. I originally bought the boat in Plymouth and sailed her round to Cardiff. The previous owner took the boat over to Ireland. Although it's a hard chine boat, being Dutch built the steel work has lots of curves and so in harbour is often mistaken for being fibre-glass. It's lot of boat for the money but it is old and needs regular maintenance hence since I am no longer living in Cardiff it is no longer practical for me to own her. Brief details as below :
FOR SALE – Cumulant 31 Steel Sloop
Built 1973 by Van der Vliss – Harlingen, Holland
