I sail my own yacht out of Cardiff Marina, I am about in the local area quite a lot, mostly singlehanded in my blue Sabre 27.

After a summer of solo sailing I am interested in meeting a few locals. I am also interested in joining CYC and meeting a few members would be a good start.

I am a qualified YM Offshore, male, 51, mostly done cruising, but happy to help out on racing, deliveries or cruising trips. I am pretty confident and experienced in the Bristol Channel, so happy to navigate for inexperienced skippers who lack confidence to go out alone.

I would suggest coming down on a Thursday evening around 8pm when the cruising section meets up for a few drinks. Have a chat to a few people there and introduce yourself. We are a friendly bunch (honest).
