I have In mast furling on my main sail, so the mast must be straight. Is there a way to ensure the standing rigging is at the correct tension, without buying expensive equipment. Dave

Hi Dave. I wanted to check this on our boat, but have not yet had time, so many other things to do. I was given this link as a starting point, there's lots of useful stuff there, including tuning masthead rigs. www.kempsails.com/component/option,com_docman/task,cat_view/gid,8/Itemid,12/ I also bought a book on rig maintenance, but I lent it to Vince, of Alana. If I see him I'll get it back, and you are welcome to borrow it. Don't know if it will help, but it might. I think Vince and Sheila are shevin on this forum, so you could send them a private message and ask for it - it will test out if the forum is working as it should. Martin
