Beginners guide to fishing when under sail.
One of our newest members, Joff Gunter will be giving a talk on fishing from a sailing boat. He will be looking at knots, hooks and rigs rather than hot spots or locations.
I can confirm that Joff knows what he's doing. We sailed out of Brixham and across Torbay last week doing about 4 knots and had 3 trawling lines across the stern at different depths. Within 3 hours the guys had caught 55 mackerel
. After gutting and skinning them they were had for dinner with some salad, new potatoes and wine 
.
I hope many of you can come along to check out what can be achieved.
