I have had this information sent to me from Portishead Marina & thought it may be of use to others
The initial findings from the survey at Portishead have highlighted the requirement of a pub on site. We have addressed this immediately and we are pleased to announce that the Hall & Woodhouse pub will be open by the end of the year.
Penarth Quays Marina Lock Shutdown
If you are planning a trip to Penarth, please be aware that the marina lock will be closed for maintenance and inspection for 12 days beginning 0900 on Monday 19th March and will reopen on Friday 30th March at 1900. No access will be available during this time.
Tawe Barrage and Swansea Marina Annual Maintenance Closure
The Tawe Barrage Lock and Swansea Marina lock will be closed for annual maintenance from 2200 on Sunday 26th February and will reopen on Monday 12th March at 0700. Please be aware there will be no access for boat traffic through the locks during this time.
Dredging of Cardiff Barrage Outer Harbour and Approach Channel
The 6-monthly dredging of the barrage approaches has now begun. The buoys marking the entrance approach channel will be moved outwards away from the edge and vessels should navigate with caution at low water. With the dredger working in the outer harbour there may be some delays in locking. Please contact Barrage Control for updates. Dredging should take approximately 3 weeks.
