CYC Junior Dinghy Race Series.
Cardiff Yacht Club will be running a Junior Spring Dinghy Race Series, starting on Wednesday 25th April, running for 6 weeks until 30th May. There will be 2-3 races per evening.
Races will be sailed in Cardiff Bay, away from the regular adult Wednesday night racing, with full safety boat cover.
The aim is to provide our younger sailors with the experience required to be able to compete in the Club’s regatta on 2nd-3rd June, and to join the adult Wednesday night racing in the future.
Entrants should:-
•Be under 16 years old on 30th May 2012.
•Hold RYA youth dinghy sailing stage 2 or equivalent.
The club has 5 Toppers and 2 Optimists, which will be available to entrants, or you may use your own boat. We can possibly get additional boats if required. RYA published PY handicaps will apply.
