Louise had been on nights all week, and had not been to bed before we left. This did not stop her pulling her weight and acting as a superb crew: She got up just before we anchored.

A stunning sunset, and we reached Porlock as night fell. Vince had Alana anchored quickly, as did Allan with Cobby girl. I kept thinking we were dragging, but I was reading the paddle wheel log. I lifter the anchor and 50m chain three times before I realised how stupid I was. All aboard Ishtar for curry and beer. Vinca and Louise decided to take Tigger ashore for a toilet break at 11:30pm. They left in Vince's dinghy for an SBS type amphibious landing, not concerned by the flat calm seas and zero wind. All the more confusing then, when they returned soaking wet and complaining of killer waves overturning the dinghy. Vince explains the horror:

A beautiful dawn. Alana left a bit before us, and I took some shots before heading back under power in the calm weather. The wind picked up for the last hour and we sailed back into Cardiff in early afternoon Another lovely couple of days. Great company, and a lovely sail down. If anyone elase fancies joining us, please keep an eye here, or see you on Wednesday nights in the club.
