CYC Challenge Wales Trip – Saturday 5th November. Day out on the 72ft round the world racing boat Challenge Wales 10 to 12 places are available. I've been out with them a few times. Everything is BIG and powerful and can be impressively fast in the right conditions. A great experience!
If £95 sounds expensive - which it certainly does to me! it's worth bearing in mind that once you've been out once as a paying quest you can then become 'volunteer crew' and subsequent trips, even long ones, will cost only £10 per day including your share of food and fuel ..which works out at cheap sailing in my book!
If I can find the time, I may try and volunteer for the 5th
