Dale, weekend 24th September

Met up with Sheila and Vince at the weekend. It's the first time we'd seen 'Volition', and she looks lovely. Vince has been polishing her within an inch of her life, and she sails well too! (Is there a club cup for 'best polisher' - if not, there should be!)



Allan was there too, aboard Chausey, along with a couple of friends, Ian and Jackie, who are just finishing a round Britain sail, aboard their boat 'Kraken'. After a few beers aboard Volition on Friday night, we all went for a meal at Dale yacht club on Saturday night.

I did manage a brief sail, as Louise and Shiela took Tigger ashore for a walk. They took this picture of Ishtar as I was charging batteries later.



What you are looking at in the next picture is 'The best apple crumble ever made'



According to Vince, anyway. He bullied the staff in the restaurant to make it specially for him!

We'll be bringing Ishtar back soon, and looking forward to seeing other boats and club people we haven't seen for weeks. Allan and Vince brought Volition and Chausey back last week, and took a bit of a battering I believe.
