I'm looking to get an inflatable to keep stowed away below deck most of the time. We already have a 2.9m inflatable tender but it's too big. I would ideally like to get 3 adults on board but would accept 2 adults and I am quite happy to row or paddle. Also I would like to store the inflatable on the fore deck (I know a 2.4m rigid transom inflatable dinghy will fit) or some other way if possible.
The Waveco 2.3m round tail and Sevylor Colorado that Marine Scene sells, appear to be obvious candidates. I would prefer a round tail dinghy because they pack up smaller.
I was wondering what people's experience are of using an inflatable tender vs a canoe/kayak?

We have a Seago/waveco 2.3m roundtail from Marinescene - it packs up well and fits under the infill in the forward cabin. We had some initial problems working out how to screw the valves in so they didn't leak, so if you do get one I'd get Marinescene to show you - the instruction leaflet is like something from IKEA, only more obscure. Other than that, no problem. Should fit three adults unless two are generously built.

I have a Navigator ii which was recommended to me by Camalot. It was cheap, big when inflated, packs up very small and take an outboard if required. Have used it a few times, including on our trip to Three Cliffs Bay this year for getting ashore and so far found it to be good. I did a quick search on Google and came up with this, which I assume is just the latest version. www.godlyday.co.uk/products/details/navigator-iii-inflatable-dinghy/15047/Mike
