Louise and I are thinking of going down to Watchet this coming Saturday, returning Sunday. We are watching the weather, but th eplan would be leave early Saturday morning, sail down to Blue anchor or have a sail about. Gate opens at 6:10pm so there should be a bit of light left to get into the marina.
Few beers in the pub. Sunday morning gate closes around 11:40, so we don't have to get out too early, then take as long as we want to get back to Cardiff in the afternoon.
If anyone fancies it, let us know?
Sailed out of Cardiff yesterday at 7:30 lock. Beat up to Aberthaw in strengthening winds. Into Barry for a spot of lunch before a good run down around the Holms. The wind and chop picked up on the way back, and we were taken East of Cardiff grounds by the tide. Locked back in at 16:15. Nearly 37 miles on the Log, not bad for Feb!

Yep, I have to sort a lighting problem out - I thought it was a bulb but we may have dislodged/broken a wire when we took the engine out. Myself or Louise or both will be down some afternoons. I think we are going to the meeting on Weds as well.
I'm watching a low pressure system. Should go North and leave nice weather for the weekend, but I won't know for a couple of days.

I'm looking at the weather too. If it looks really good I may go down to Ilfracombe or Instow on Friday and back on Sunday. If this not on, we may join you in Watchet. I have to warn you that Lilly will be there!

The low pressure that was concerning me now looks to be passing us way to the North, so fingers crossed. It would be good if you could make it, but if you get a chance to go further, enjoy.
I've enrolled Tigger in Tae Kwondo classes, and he now carries a water pistol.

Just been sorting the weekend. I will be taking Cobby girl over to Watchet tomorrow (Friday). Edwina and Lilly will join me on Saturday and we will all sail back on Sunday. Hopefully we will see you and some others there.

Our plan is to meet on the pontoon(CYC) at 8am Sat and then lock out around 9. Lock gates open about 6:10pm, and we will lock into watchet shortly after. I guess we'll walk the dog and then get across to the pub for a meal and a couple of pints.
I think the gate closes around 11:40am on Sun, so there's no mad rush to get out early, and hopefully some nice sailing back to Cardiff.
