hi all i am looking for information on any moorings which are available in the bay. i have an 18ft plymouth pilot which myself and my son use for fishing and am interested in a pontoon mooring or swing mooring. are there any available? if so how do i go about joining? thanks in advance jason

Hi Jason,
I'm not sure of the current situation regarding the pontoon berths, nor the moorings, but there may well be some available. As Shevin says, the best thing to do is to call in at the club and go to the bar upstairs.
Again, the weekend is the best, the club is not open for the whole week, but open on Wednesday and Thursday nights as well (from 20:00) (Can someone correct that if it's not right?). If you ask one of the bar staff when they are not serving, I'm sure they will explain the procedures and costs.
To join the club you need to be proposed and seconded by club members, which is not usually a problem. There are regular meetings to admit new members, and everyone has to go through this process.

re new members i see from our club handbook that the next new members night is on 14 jan hope this helps
