Many thanks for your time last night Brian, and your patience in showing us how to do the splicing. A very good turn out and a very enjoyable evening.

I was very pleasantly surprised at how many turned out. It was great to see so many there, and I'd like to echo Shevin's thanks to Brian. I didn't have my camera, but snapped a few shots with the phone.

Thanks...? for driving me mad Couldn't manage it at all at the club and then was so frustrated that I sat up late at home trying to do it! Result - success in the end. I can now backsplice too, thanks to a little help from 'Grog' ( www.animatedknots.com) - an excellent site! you can actually see the knots tying themselves, and slow it down, and go back a stage as much as you like. That's a good link. I've put it in the Useful information section too.

Brian David and I would also like to thank you for your patience that night. Not only did we learn something useful, but it turned out to be an excellent social evening too!
