Vince and I went out on Alana yesterday afternoon. Lovely sail. Huw (Sandpiper) was helping out Steve and Nicky (hope I've got that right) on their first trip aboard their new boat, Coracle.    A lovely afternoon/evening sail. Nice to see some decent weather at last.  Locked back in at 19:45  The bar was busy. Chris (rose) was free and easy with his portion of chips, and very nice as well. Another club member was guarding his own chips jealously, even though I had sweated blood trying to start his 'new' seagull engine earlier...... ;D |

Thoroughly enjoyed the evenings sail with near perfect weather. Anyone up for doing something similar next week? We locked out at 17:30 and back in at 19:45.
Tides (GMT) for Wed 16th Sept are:-
10:54 Low 2.2m
17:06 High 11.5m
23:32 Low 1.6m
Thanks for the pictures Martin, I think that third one is likely to become Coracle's new avatar, so I'm sure you'll be forgiven for the name mix-up!!

You weren't the only one who got roped into trying to start that engine, Martin. Is there anyone in the club who didn't? Did anyone see him actually trying himself? We'll have to watch him - very very clever ploy that - get someone (everyone) else to do the hard work!
Had an update tonight - apparently it did start eventually!

Thanks for the pictures, we almost look like we know what we were doing.
Jacky said dont worry about the mistake of her name - the pictures are great.
