Hello everyone. Just thought I'd ask how everyone is getting on. All keeping well I hope. So sad that now some nice weather is coming and we can't get out to do what we love doing.
I for one have done loads of jobs around the home that have been needing doing for about 20 years! Nearly done those now, I made them my priority, so I shall shortly be able to get on with my personal hobbies, drawing and painting and jigsaw and many other things.
Hope you are all managing to keep occupied.
By the way did you know that John Le Masonry has been hosting Thursday night quizzes at 8.30 (after the clap for carers) for the last couple of weeks via Facebook and he is also having group chats via the medium of Zoom. Take care all.
Kind regards Sheila

Good morning Sheila, Vince and all other members. I was waiting for someone else to respond to your message but nobody seems to be in talkative mood right now. I think as time has elapsed and "lockdown" has really taken hold of us all we are all more concerned as to the dangers this virus is posing. With this in mind my wife and I have also knuckled down to do all those jobs that kept being left for another day.The garden is now tidy, there wont be any expense on bedding plants this year as they may not be available. All my fences have been painted. All I want to do now is some painting on the boat and as we all know that is not about to happen. Still I can dream of my next fishing trip. Will bass still be about or will we be into another cod season? What ever the future holds please all stay safe and support one another. Best wishes to all members and families. Brian King.

Had a nice online evening last night being Thursday night when John hosted a sailing quiz. There were about 9 of us online. A good night. I think John is going to do another one next Thursday. One other nice thing about it was that we were able to link up with Eric Witheridge, isolated on his boat in Spain, his trip to Argentina having been severely delayed, and also Allan Fawcus, currently in London. There are some good things about this social media and technology
Stay cool all!
