I received this today from Portishead Marina
With the increased measures to reduce risk of contact between each other we are going to be closing the reception area and front desk to all public and customers from today, 18th March from 1400 until further notice. Staff will be coming and going, and the building will have the usual operational ability but with a few minor changes.
Please call 01275 841941 for the office, lock booking, boatyard inquiries. There will be a berth master available as always and they will be doing all the usual rounds and site checks.
Daniel Jones. Please call Danielle for renewals, berthing enquiries and all administrational business between 0900 and 1730. on 07923 243540.
Post will be on a table inside the facilities downstairs in the lock control building accessible by key code entry.
Electricity card top ups should be arranged via the office phone number and placed in the small tin outside the front reception door first floor. The berth master will attend to the card and return it to the tin for collection as quickly as possible. Payment is over the phone by card please.
Spare boat keys will be distributed the same way if required.
Locking times. We will be running a shorter locking schedule due to reduced staff levels. Locking will be 2 hours either side of high-water times and an hourly service. Please note
ALL LOCKING OUT NEEDS TO BE BOOKED WELL IN ADVANCE VIA PHONE OR CHANEL 80.
We will email a revised locking time sheet to all customers and visitors on our records.
Boat yard operations. Dave Medri is contactable via phone on the office number and we are running a full yard service currently.
Hopefully we will be able to run a good service for you all and help everyone to be able to go about their business with as little risk as is possible. Certainly, there is going to be a level of inconvenience but we will do our very best to minimise that.
