Can't you tell the weather has calmed down - 2 trips in 4 days, I can see me getting done for over fishing like the trawlers do(n't). Tried a couple of spots from The knap, Sully, Penarth Sandbanks & Cardiff Foreshore. Usual smattering of Dogs, Conger & Thornback Ray. Worth reporting though was this 8lb Small Eyed Ray, my 1st ever. Caught off Sully quite early on in the day. Cheers Paul for netting it, it wouldve been a quiet trip from then on if it got away mate. I'd have had a right sulk ;D And another noteable Thornyback from Cardiff Foreshore area... Worth mentioning that all 40 odd fish caught in the last 2 sessions using Mackerel caught at Tenby 2 weeks ago & stuffed in the freezer asap! Mark (Rudolph the red nose sunburnt panda eyed fisherman)
