Sorry if this wastes anyones time looking at it but...
I simply have to say a massive thank you to Jenny B (I've never asked your name!) for popping onboard my boat during the week to bilge off some rain water.
I say some rain water, it was quite a bit, and I was as usual stuck in work all week on my usual stupidly long shifts.
There's 2 reasons I'm happy, one is the obvious saving my boat from a sinking, and secondly, knowing that a club member is looking out every now & then is brilliant with the recent bout of thefts that have happened.
;DMUCH APPRECIATED GOOD SIR ;D
I will now be sketching out how to get a bilge sensor fitted to my electric pump so that I can leave it on when I'm away.
A quick foot note - I bought the £25 manual bilge pump (available from most chandlers) not 4 months ago to support the workload of the electric one, mounted it smartly to my cabin wall (made it look factory fitted I swear). Well, already the handle has rusted & broken off & I have been so careful with it. Yet another lesson learned for me... Never try to save money on ANY piece of marine equipment!!

Don't apologise - it's a club forum, and both the action of the member who helped you and you taking the time to thank them here is good for the club. In my opinion.
