Well, we set out last Saturday for our sailing holiday. Got as far as Watchet where we spent the night in the company of Phil & Jane (Moontide) & Martyn & Sarah (Tamarind). Almost the whole of ?CBY??C were there too on the first part of the SWOG. We left Watchet at around 5.00 am sunday morning and headed west for Mumbles. Anchored off at Mumbles for a couple of hours and went ashore to the Mumbles Yacht Club, where the Dart 18 Welsh Open was taking place. It was a lovely warm afternoon. We did not manage to meet up with Chris & Tess Portishead - Misty Lady) who were also there at Mumbles, but we did have a chat on the phone. From Mumbles we went on down to Oxwich Bay for the night, where we picked up Paul Hurley's mooring. What a lovely chap, he came out in a RIB with a couple of young lads from the camp site where he was staying, to show us where his mooring is and to lend a hand and have a chat. Thank you Paul, we owe you a beer! We left Oxwich early in the morning, with a beautiful calm sea, no wind, for a motor down along to Saundersfoot, where we stayed for an hour or so before going in to Tenby. Had a lovely quiet night up against the wall there. Better finish for now as we are getting ready to leave Milford Marina (we took shelter here for a couple of days in the terrible weather recently.) Off to Lawrenny for tonight. Bye for now
