Hello I just thought I would say hello and introduce myself. My name is Louise and with my partner Martin, we own Ishtar a 29ft Cobra 850. We should be back out in the bay soon as we are having our engine refitted this weekend. If you see us about give us a wave.

Hi Louise and Martin. Just giving you an electronic wave. I'm Bob, my wife (Christine) and I own Dazzle a 27ft GibSea 282. We're new to sailing (2nd year and have so far covered 300nm). Hope to see you around the club.
Bob

Hi Bob, 300nm sounds good. I think we've managed about 90 in our first season, I'd have to check the log. Look forward to meeting you, we should be around on the visitor's pontoon this coming Saturday, so say hello if you're passing.

Hi Bob, Martin & louise Just a quick virtual wave and nod. I am hoping to get a lot more miles under the keel this year as last year i barely covered 800nm mostly in the Bristol chanel The furthest was an Ilfracombe and Oxwich not very exciting Dave (Wyndsong)

Hello Dave,
I'm realy impressed! 800nm in the Bristol Channel without going beyond Ilfracombe or Oxwich is quite something. As both are about 40 'ish miles away, there and back again 10 times was quite something in a really bad summer. Sorry, just noticed that it was 'this year and last year'. You must have gone further over two years!
Oxwich is a really good spot, provided there is nothing from the east. I see from the other site that you're planning on going further in '09 a trip to Ireland. Post up some details of when you're planning on going.
