Some details, as announced by Ray at the club AGM this evening:
The new dredged depth leading up to the main slip is now approximately 2.5m. The area behind B pontoon has also been dredged to the same depth to a distance of 20mtrs from B pontoon walkway.
Please remember, these depths are approximate, and there will be 'high spots' and the depths may change over time. It is the responsibility of the skipper to ensure he/she is navigating in sufficient depth of water for their vessel.
I will try and draw a simple sketch when I get a chance.

2,500 cubic metres of spoil was removed from our site giving a mean draught of aprox 2.3 metres below the water with the dredger working 0800 to 1800 Mon to Frid and 0800 till 1400 on the saturday. I have been informed there is a slight tump close the the entrance between the fingers of B and C, so be carefull on your approach. The dredger drew 2.2metres when loaded through that spot
The project was completed in partnership with the Harbour Authority and ourselves
