I agree - fillets are my preference, but Matthew prefers fish cakes (he is only 6), and as he caught them I'm quite happy to let him have his however he wants it!

Congratulations. I was disappointed that I could not get to the recent fishing talk at the club.
So, where did you fish? Did you anchor or drift? State of tide? What bait, etc?

We were anchored off Cardiff foreshore (left turn after Outer Wrach, about 1 Nm). We got there just before HW and stayed for about an hoar and half. We had planned to use squid and rag worm, my usual preference, but ended up using just the rag worm - bought £2 worth and ended up throwing most of it in the water, so our dinner was cheap!
