A new year, and a new chart. It's posted below the 2010 chart which is now closed. Many thanks to all who gave their positions, the chart shows a very impressive list of places visited by CYC members last year.
Let me know, as you visit new places this year, and I will plot you on the chart, and don't forget to let Huw know too, so he can add you to the Blue Book Challenge.
Happy cruising 2011!

By the way, have a look at Brian Blue Bear's new position (details in the Cruising log section, along with a new log from Gem). He recently covered 565 miles to the Canaries. In the email he said he had trouble getting the cruising chute down, so kept sailing until the wind dropped!

High Spirits has some destinations, after Lundy we went to Instowe, then Ilfracombe and Combe Martin. We have also done a couple of early season trips to Watchet. Andy

Martyn, Did you go to Ilfracombe YC or just the Harbour? And am I right in thinking that you didn't land on Lundy?

We have had a 4 week cruise to Eire. CYC-Caldey Is.Dale-Dunmore East-Waterford-Dunmore East-Youghal-Kilmore Quay-Dale-Tenby-CYC
Sharp eyed will note that the outgoing leg was 4 long daysails. Weather was not ideal, but we made the most of it. Oh, and the Irish people were fantastic! The bad news is we used 25 litres of diesel - ouch! Dave & Mary Gem

I've updated that, Dave. Good to catch up with You and Mary at Dale. There is a picture of Gem lower down on the forum - Louise took it early one morning before you left for Ireland.

I think I keep posting my itineraries on the wrong page so here's another go: Tenby+yacht club(X2) Dale, Milford Haven,Solva+club, Skomer, Fishguard, Cardigan+Teifi boat club. I would like to claim bonus points for Teifi as they understandably don't get many visitors. (anyone want my pilotage notes?) and Oxwich I have also posted Watchet, Combe Martin, Ilfracombe, Lundy, and Instowe. If I'm posting on the wrong page would somebody let me know. Many thanks, Andy

Sorry, Andy - I missed your post on the other thread. I've updated the chart and locked the thread. Hopefully it's easier now.
