Just to let everyone know that on Friday the 19th of November 2010, there will be an evening of Brillant entertainment, by the Club members themselves in an effort to raise money towards a replacement Tractor. So all you singers, players, dancers and comics (and we have loads of those!) contact Graham the karioke king and get your name down to perform. It might not be the X Factor, but it could be the neXt Tractor. ;D

So, will there be a buffet Graham, and if so are we asking everyone to bring a plate of food so that there will be no cost to the club in respect of that?

What about auctioning off people offering various skills for a certain number of hours?? I've been to quite a few do's where they have raised loads of money by doing this. A list could be posted up for willing volunteers to enter! I'll enter as the 1st willing participant to offer my services!!!!

aaaaaaaaargh!! Don't think brain was engaged fully before I started to type!!! ( A couple of glasses of wine are to blame me thinks!!!) Anyway before you all get the completely wrong idea............... what I meant was that I would offer my services in terms of cleaning or painting tasks..........say on someone's boat/ house/car?? or administrative services .......typing/ filing/letters etc?? Others with more technical skills could sell themselves for a few hours to do jobs on people's boats/ take people out for a trip on their boats? It was just a fun idea for raising money for the tractor so what do you all think??
