Hello, I was planning on taking some sailing training but before I did this I wondered if anybody was willing to have me come out with them for a sail just to see if I would actually enjoy/like it??? I know that in the beginning I will have to sail a small boat inside the safety of the harbour wall but it would be good to see what could be possible after lots of training. Thanks in advance for any help provided Ryan mobile and email removed by admin. Please read forum guidelines.

Ryan, if you come to the club on a Thursday evening you should meet a few of the cruising section. Allan

Yes, the cruisers meet every Thursday. If you want to get out in the bay, Wednesday night is the dingy section night. Allan

Good to see you at the club last night, Ryan. Hope you picked up some useful info. You are more than welcome to come out for a sail with Louise and myself on Ishtar next month, when we have her back in Cardiff - she's currently in West Wales.
I'm sure there will be other offers too, whilst you are arranging your Competant crew training.

Thanks Martin,
I was made to feel more than welcome by all the club members.
It was good to speak to you all. The info was useful and I was glad to hear that I don't have to take the dinghy route to get out on the water. It would be great to come out on Ishtar when you bring her back to Cardiff. I have been looking at a few different Yacht training websites and I will let you know how I get on.
Thanks again to all at the club
