I'm thinking of heading to Lundy on Monday 5th April, leaving early morning, if the weather proves suitable. Anyone who'd like to come along would be very welcome.
Would probably be heading home Wednesday 7th.
Finer details such as whether to stop on route yet to be decided.

We'd love to be joining you Huw but at least one of us has to go to work! Sheila

Hi Huw,
Rhiannon & I would like to come in Xanadu. What are the mooring facilities (remember we are a fin)? Also, have to see if I can get the time off work.
Cheers,
Mike

There's ample depth so fin not an issue. There are a number of moorings in the bay just above rat island. Last July, in stunning weather, we had the choice of moorings when I was there with Allan, so would expect in April to have no problems finding one free. If none available though there's plenty of space to anchor.
However if the wind is from the East we'd be better off (as I understand it from the pilot books) moving round to Jenny's cove on the other side of the island, where there are no moorings so you have to anchor.
I've got some good pilot books that I'll have with me in Portishead if you want to read up on Lundy.
