I have just rung John Long to see if he intends opening up. He is very wary of getting down there and not being able to get back home again, a problem considering where he lives, so has decided not to open up. If you fancy meeting for a drink and a chat we could go somewhere else. I think there is footie on the TV tonight so choose the bar/pub wisely!
Cheers Sheila

I think we are planning to go down. Hoping to meet up with Huw and allan re: Bangor.
I'll watch and decide later.

I'm up for meeting up, if I can get there. Is the Wharf still good?

Yep, Wharf is still good, and very convenient for us! So shall we say 8.00 ish as usual in the Wharf? Parking is good there too.

Martin,The Wharf pub is in Schooner Way, more or less opposite where we live. (Holiday Inn Express is opposite us, and the Wharf is further on down the road, round the bend and on the right, right on the bend, as you drive along Schooner Way from the County Hall/Red Dragon Centre end. There is ample parking. Phone me if this is not clear. S

Well that wasn't the best planning in the world, we got to the Wharf to find it closed! Thanks to Vince and Sheila for inviting us all back to theirs for a very enjoyable evening.

Sheila and Vince, many thanks for "saving the day" well the night! A really nice evening. Martin, The perfect storm, good preparation for next week, I hope you got some tips. Louise, did you hear a request on Janice Long, about 1-35am? Allan
