Just in case anyone has not bothered to sign in. On the members only forum there is a thread about our open day. There are still places for people who wish to have a free boat check. If you can't access the thread then PM me or Matt. Allan

Had a nice email this morning from the RNLI:
Matthew, I want to thank you and all your collegues for the welcome and support that I and RNLI colleagues received at your club open day yesterday. We looked at something between 15-20 lifejackets. We went onto 4 boats to do Advice on Board. And I have 2 more for us to do over the next couple of weeks. We towed 2 boats with our D Class lifeboat. Can you thank and apologise on my behalf to Paula of Swn-y-Nant for making the boat available to tow, unfortuneately we just ran out of time and were not able to take up her kind offer. Looking to the future, we would be happy to come and do a session as part of your winter programme. I also had a couple of discussions with fishing members of the Club and I think they might appreciate us coming to do a lifejacket clinic for them at some stage. If there is anything that you want from us in any way, please let me know. Always happy to pop over to the Club and look at an individuals lifejackets or go onboard to talk about safety issues etc. Once again many thanks.
