In the near future I am planning to take the Yachtmaster practical exam. If anyone is interested in joining me, perhaps they could post on here, PM me or contact me in any other way.

possibly? and certainly need some practice first! not sure how long i'm going to be around either - the sunshine is calling ;D. Any dates in mind?

I hope to be talking to an instructor in the morning. The plan would be to go out for 3 or 4 days practising. Immediately after that we would take the exam.
Hopefully I will be able to post more details in the morning.

I have now spoken to an examiner, nominated by the RYA. He is happy with my proposal, as mentioned above, so it will happen.
I now need to sort out a first aid course for myself and anyone else who may need/want one.
