www.wboa.co.uk/newsletter.htmlI went there a few weeks ago and could only leave about an hour before HW after waiting for the boat to float. It seems that they are trying to resolve the problem. If anyone has any further news please post here. Thanks. Matt

I will be going on Wednesday. What was your draft and was it springs or neaps?

From my experience on Wednesday you need the tyde to be 7m plus your draft to move in Watchett marina. This significantly delays departure and clearly is dependent on whether its springs or naps. That said they are clearly making progress dredging and it looks Lille things should improve soon.

Update on the Watchet situation.
Rumour has it that the manager got called away with his baby child going into intensive care so not much work got done to solve the mud situation. We understand that things are getting back to full speed again now that the manager back. Loads to do still as where they stopped working, not only was no mud removed but it started to build up again. The new machine is apparently amazing at shifting mud. They just need to keep it running all the time.
I understand Princess Anne visited Watchet on 20th September too!
This one from one of the pontoon berth holders there.
