We have been staying with friends in Saundersfoot & were made very welcome at the yacht club to see in the New Year. The commodore would love to see more visiting yachts so there's an invitation and warm welcome to any passing CYC member.

Saundersfoot is definitely on my list for 2012 - visited Tenby twice last year, so plan to use Saundersfoot next time.

I was a member at Saundersfoot Y C for many years with a mooring very limted access 2hrs before and after H T with a sandbank that moves outside entrance. Clubhouse run on same basis as ours with very limted opening hrs even in summer.Aways a good welcome to visiters

I understand that Saundersfoot, like Burryport and a number of other places is fine for boats like Chausey. Unfortunately they are not suitable for Trapper 500s. Allan

As it's so tricky for Trappers to get into Saundersfoot, should I be offering any Trapper that does make it some bonus points?

Totally agree Sheila. We should not encourage dangerous sailing. Indeed certain boats, like Blight Fryer, should stay in port as much as possible. Allan
