Josh at Severn Sails is very good. He's not cheap but, in my opinion worth it. Have a chat around the club, as some people have used other firms and been very disappointed. Unfortunately I can't remember any more details. Many years ago I had a sacrificial strip done by A and N, who had something to do with CBYC. The standard was appalling. On the English side there's Marcus at Bristol sails and Richard at R and J (Clevedon). I've had good work done by both. Allan

Josh at Severn Sails is very good. Had a new spray hood for 'Shearwater of Sanday' last year and am very pleased with it. But with Josh be prepared to wait …. all good things come to those who wait. As Alan says he is not cheap. R & J, Kenn Road, Clevedon are a good small sail loft and will undertake repair works whilst you wait, but give them a ring first. There also a chap in Penarth, 'Just Covers' may also be known as 'PenArth Covers' on Bressemer Road(?) but again check out their web site first and give them a ring. There is also another company down off Hadfield Road, just by the Cardiff waste place who was recommended by Josh and who makes cockpit seat cushions and boat upholstery repairs, again did an excellent job.
