Subject: Penarth Fashion Week charity event in aid of RNLI
Hello!
My name is Kath Fisher, and I am on the lifeboat crew at Penarth. I don’t know if you heard about Penarth Fashion Week which took place for the first time last year, but it is going ahead again this year, where all the profits went towards the RNLI. Various events take place locally - mostly ‘fashion’ events, but also food, drink, and well being events happen too.
In support of this, I am organising a sailing fashion event to take place on Tuesday 9 October at Penarth Yacht Club. We hope to showcase yachting and safety clothing whilst also providing a 2 course dinner there.
My aim is to have a number of models wearing inshore, offshore and sailing fashion clothing supplied by Force4Chandlery and Helly Hansen. What I need now is some models! I am emailing to ask if you would have any sailing crew who may be interested in modelling for me at this event. As it’s a charity event, there is no payment I’m afraid, however it is due to be a fantastic evening and all funds raised do go to the RNLI as previously mentioned. Would you be able to ask any club members if they would be interested in doing this for me? I am also approaching 2 other local sailing clubs to do the same, and am looking ideally for 4 models from each club (any ages and sizes!!) two female, and two male.
We will be selling tickets to the event priced at £30 per person and would like to invite all of your club members and any friends or family to attend too. Flyers can be provided.
