The wind should Build within a few hours we have checked out and will leave In a Couple of hours Ready as we are going to be the last leg of our Journey, Cardiff next? althougth that will depend on the Bristol Channel tide we'll be short of Diesel by the time we reach UK so no metal sails to reach cardiff....If we have to wait though, We'll fill up in Milford Haven......If It all goes to Plan..... If it doesn't who Knows Ireland, France.... ?? we have to arrange to refuel mid channel

I sent a Facebook message to Margret Cox today (not sure if that's Brian's mum or another relative) asking if she'd heard anything from them as to when they are expected back as we are waiting here on tenterhooks. She replied that they are expected back at the weekend. Wouldn't it be great if they arrived during regatta the cruiser racing? It would be a good reason to abandon the race and just escort them home don't you think?

Suppose this will be the final Posting as I settle into the Real life after a Dream trip that seems so Unreal It takes time to sink in... Friends have asked what was It like Mostly a dream Come true..... Would I do it Again No, Not because there was anything bad but because once Its done a second time would be a waste but sailing to and staying at a destination is still on the books Where?? Canaries, Grenada, French Polinesia or Africa would be my favorites..... a few Memories already feel a Liftime away but Come back to life with a Photo A quiet 50th Birthday, Fun and Friends at every Port So So Friendly and Genorous People making Evrey Departure a Sad Affair we'll never meet again but Treasured Memories Places that are only in Glossy Magazines Rough Weather was pretty rare and Sometimes more preferable to the alternatives unsettled being such a problem flaping Sails grinding at the Nerves Calms pretty common and generally enjoyed Crossing the Equator on My Youngest Grandsons Birthsay with an average speed of 2.32 Knots was a double Celebration with Coffee Fish and Rice Scary Moments were not really Suffered the Worst a Storm whipping up the waves into sizes we've never seen before and coming from two directions thretening to engulf the boat on several occasions but the Boat was tremendous taking all that was thrown at it with true grace...But Unknown to me I had a very close brush with Danger while Cleaning the hull... Hot dry weather no wind warm clear water a swim was essencial but the arrival of an Oceanic White tip ended the Idea of any more swimming The Only time we saw sharks was when I entered the water oter Aquatic Life was so abundant we had regular sightings the most exciting the Shark a Sperm Whale, Devil Ray and two Swordfish or Marlin though many and several spiecies of Whale, Dolphin and Turtles

Some of the pictures don't seem to have displayed for me Bri. We must set a date for you to give a presentation and tell us all your wonderful stories, and also to officially present you with your BCYA trophy.
